Who Can Compete?
The Botswana Diamond Run is open to individuals of all nationalities who meet the following criteria. All applications are subject to review and approval.
Minimum age of 21 years at time of event
Valid passport with at least 12 months remaining validity
Certified medical fitness clearance
Clean background check (no criminal convictions)
Adequate travel and health insurance
Signed participant waiver and agreements

Individual Entry
Single participant entry to the full four-stage competition.

What level of fitness is required?
Participants should be in good general fitness. While the competition is physically demanding, it is designed for adventurous individuals, not elite athletes. A medical fitness certificate from your doctor is required.
What happens if I am not approved?
If your application is not approved, you will receive a full refund of your entry fee within 14 business days. We may offer alternative participation options in some cases.
Is travel to Botswana included?
International flights are not included in the entry fee. However, our team provides travel advisory, visa support, and recommended airline partners with preferential rates.
Can I bring a companion or spectator?
Spectators are welcome at the Grand Finale Gala. We offer separate companion packages for partners who wish to experience Botswana alongside the event. Contact us for details.
What insurance do I need?
All participants must hold valid international travel insurance and health insurance covering emergency evacuation. The organiser provides supplementary event-specific coverage.
Are diamonds taxed upon receipt?
Tax obligations vary by country of residence. Prize winners receive full documentation for customs and tax purposes. We recommend consulting a tax advisor in your jurisdiction.
